Anything and Everything and Nothing All at Once

Bouncie, bouncie, shooty ball.

A love song to a piece of musical equipment.

I don’t know

I know the last album R.E.M made as a quartet was my favorite.

I don’t know what Bob Dylan thought of this.

But I like that Syd Barrett had fun with him.

Probably at a time when he needed to be brought down a little.

I’m a big fan of Mr. Wordsworth’s musical post.

When he shares his depth of musical knowledge.

And on twitter, when he gets in a groove

Which is most of the times he logs in.

And spits out tweet after tweet

And I just sit back and enjoy his sense of humor.

But more on the music.

He mentioned Syd Barrett.

That he is the heart and soul of Pink Floyd.

Syd Barrett, I believe, was a lovely guy.

And in his songs, there is a warmth.

In his solo works, its there.

In songs like Octopus.

Or Terrapin

With these lyrics

I really love you and I mean you

The star above you, crystal blue

Well, oh baby, my hair’s on end about you.

And this song from Pink Floyd

Bike.

I’ve got a bike you can ride it if you like it’s got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good. I’d give it to you if I could but I borrowed it

I don’t know how you feel but I feel there’s warmth to it.

And now I’ll probably disappear for a week.

They gave dogs dreams of becoming doctors. They put a rabbit, a bat, and a reindeer in a song. They are lovers of the natural world.

Seriously, Coldplay.

Some are at their best covering Woody Guthrie.
